LES Third Grade Students Excel on 3rd Grade Reading Gate Assessment

Lake Elementary School is incredibly proud to announce and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our 3rd grade students for achieving a > 95% pass rate on the first administration of the Mississippi Department of Education's Third Grade Summative Reading Assessment.  This achievement is truly one for the history books at LES!  Out of approximately 395 elementary schools across the state of Mississippi that participated in this assessment, Lake Elementary School was ONE of only 20 schools to reach this remarkable milestone!  What an incredible accomplishment for our students, staff, families and community!  This record-setting success reflects the hard work, dedication, perseverance and teamwork of so many individuals who pour into our students each day!

To our amazing 3rd grade family:  THANK YOU for leading our students to academic success and inspiring them to believe in themselves and their abilities every single day!

A very special THAN YOU to:

Mrs. Cami Reynolds, 3rd Grade Reading Teacher - Congratulations, Mrs. Reynolds on accomplishing this career goal!  We are beyond proud of and for you!)

We also want to thank Mrs. Leslie McMillan (3rd grade Language/Writing teacher) and Mrs. Lindsey Miller (Special Services Support Teacher) for additional instructional support in their specialty areas.

We also want to recognize and send a huge THANK YOU to our entire LES family for laying a strong academic foundation for success through your hard work, dedication and commitment to our students!  THANK YOU for loving, encouraging and pouring into our students daily.  Your impact makes a difference far beyond the classroom walls!

THANK YOU too to our parents, families and community for your continued support, involvement and partnerships!  TOGETHER, we are accomplishing GREAT things for our students and school family!

LES, we are BEYOND proud of and for you!
