We would like to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Leslie McMillan, our 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year. A graduate of Lake High School, East Central Community College and Mississippi State University, Mrs. McMillan has served our school and community as a first grade teacher for 22 years. She possesses many positive strengths and attributes as a successful educator, but what truly makes her special is her pleasant personality, positive attitude, warm smile and her genuine love and compassion for her students, colleagues, school and community.
When Mrs. McMillan isn't busy planning the magic that happens in her classroom, she enjoys camping, serving at Pine Ridge Baptist Church and attending church related activities, visiting the elderly in the community, spending time with her family, playing the piano, reading and watching her daughters participate in extra-curricular sports and activities.
Mrs. McMillan, we are BEYOND proud of you! You are a tremendous asset to our school and family, and we are incredibly blessed to call you our school sister and friend! We love you and are so very proud of you!
