"GET CAUGHT READING!"

It's SUMMER and there is no better time than NOW to take a million summer journeys through books! LES students, it's time to GET YOUR READ ON!
 
Today marks the kick-off of our GET CAUGHT (Extreme!) READING Summer Challenge! Here's how it works!
 
* Option 1: Grab your favorite book and READ it! (Read it more than once if you'd like!) Have a friend or family member take a picture of you reading the book and then ask them to post it in the COMMENTS section of our GET CAUGHT READING post on "The Hornet's Nest" Facebook page.  (You may post ONE picture PER day through July 31st.) For each moment you've been caught and "captured" reading, you will earn ONE brag tag. (If you start today and read just ONE book a day, you will earn 42 Brag Tags before school even starts! (Remember to post a picture!) How awesome is that?!?!?!?!)
 
* Option 2: Library Visit - Visit a local public library, read a book, check out a book and have a friend or family member (OR EVEN THE LIBRARIAN!!!) take a picture of you (AND THE LIBRARIAN IF YOU'D LIKE!) reading the book and then ask them to post it in the COMMENTS section of our GET CAUGHT READING post on "The Hornet's Nest" Facebook page. (You may post ONE picture PER day through July 31st.) For each moment you've been caught and "captured" reading at a PUBLIC LIBRARY, you will earn TWO brag tags. (Yes! TWO BRAG TAGS!) (If you visit one of our local public libraries just ONCE a week and read a book, you will earn 14 brag tags over the next 7 weeks before school starts!) (Remember to post a picture!)
 
*Option 3: Choose both Option 1 and Option 2! :0)
 
(There will also be a SURPRISE PRIZE during our first brag tag meeting for the student who reads the most books and collects the most brag tags during our GET CAUGHT (EXTREME!) READING CHALLENGE!)
